The standard N26 bank account is free and doesn’t charge any opening or maintenance fees. The N26 Smart bank account costs €4.90 per month, the N26 You bank account costs €9.90 per month and the N26 Metal account is available for €16.90 per month, with a 12-month commitment period. To open an N26 account, no deposit or minimum income is required.

Terms and Conditions of the offer
Promotion offered by N26 Bank GmbH, Rungestr. 22, 10179 Berlin, Germany. The promotion is reserved to natural persons of legal age and capacity residing in France and applies to new N26 customers in France, for any first opening of an N26 account (i.e. complete a successful identity verification and are approved for a bank account by N26 Bank GmbH) between 26.08.2021 and 31.08.2021 at 23:59. Each of the offers below may be used once per new N26 customer.
- Welcome bonus of 30 euros on account opening In order to benefit from the 30 euros welcome bonus, the new customer must activate the promotional code communicated by N26 and then perform a qualifying transaction of at least 30 euros. To activate the promotional code, the new N26 customer must enter the promotional code when prompted in the sign-up process to open their N26 bank account. Once the N26 bank account is opened, the N26 customer must top up his/her account and perform a first qualifying transaction of at least 30 euros in order to receive a payment of 30 euros from N26 by bank transfer directly to their N26 account. The payment of the 30 euros bonus will take place within 7 days after the qualifying transaction.
- Additional bonuses of 26 euros per month when subscribing to an N26 Premium offer and using the N26 card In addition, customers having activated the promotional code mentioned in section 1 can be entitled to additional bonuses in case of a subscription to an N26 Premium offer (N26 Smart, N26 You, N26 Metal, N26 Business Smart, N26 Business You or N26 Business Metal) before 01.12.2021. The new N26 Premium customer will be entitled to additional bonuses of 26 euros per calendar month, provided that the new N26 Premium customer performs a minimum of 10 card payments per reference month until 31.12.2021. The card payments must be made with the N26 card assigned to the N26 account of the N26 Premium customer. The payment of each bonus of 26 euros will take place, if applicable, before the 26th of the following month. The total and maximum amount that the new N26 Premium customer can receive for the additional bonuses, subject to meeting the conditions of the offer, is 104 euros (4x26 euros). When combined with the welcome bonus of 30 euros (see section 1), the new N26 Premium customer is therefore entitled to a total and maximum amount of reward of 134 euros.
