Imagine this example: 

You buy a butter croissant at the bakery for €1.60. Thanks to Round-Ups, we’ll round up your card purchase to an even €2, and automatically sends that €0.40 straight to your space. It’s easy—the more you use your N26 card, the more change you’ll stash away for personal goals.

If you want to turn on the Round-Ups feature, you can do so directly from your chosen space. Just follow these steps:

1. Open your N26 mobile app
2. Tap Finances
3. Create a new space or select the one where you want to save money with rounding
4. Tap on Manage, then Manage Round-Ups
5. Activate Round-Ups

To help you save even faster, we offer the option to multiply your Round-Ups. As you enable the feature, you’ll see an option to multiply your round-ups by 1, 2, 3 or 5. Multiply by 1 is automatically selected, but if you pick a different number, we’ll multiply each round-up by that number instead.

Check out an example to see how it works:

You’ve turned on Round-Ups and set your multiplier at 2. You buy a coffee that costs €1.50 and pay with your virtual N26 Mastercard. We automatically round up your purchase to €2, take that €0.50 difference, multiply it by 2, and transfer €1 from your main account into your Space.
