Senior iOS Engineer

About the opportunity

We are seeking a

Senior iOS Engineer

to design and deliver seamless mobile experiences that bring trustworthy, frictionless money movement to our customers. Our Payments team builds systems that enable N26 to become the primary banking relationship for our customers, and we believe in combining technical excellence with customer-centricity to make banking more human.

As part of this high performing team, you will have the chance to shape the iOS tech stack, drive impactful technical projects end to end, and mentor others while working on products used by millions across Europe.

In this role, you will:

• Proactively work on improving the iOS tech stack and ensure high quality standards
• Advocate for quality, security and continuous improvement in your team
• Participate in the N26 iOS community, facilitating cross team collaboration
• Work with Product, customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right products and solutions
• Helping Junior and Mid-Level engineers to be successful and be a good sparring partner
• Expand and develop your iOS knowledge, skills, and technology expertise
• The full production lifecycle of all team services can be covered by you
• Close collaboration with Engineering Manager / Technical Leads, lead tech projects
• Take charge of team internal projects or responsible for overarching tech tasks
• Autonomously drive progress end-to-end and be the one to find solutions

What you need to be successful:

Background: 

• Experience in driving technical projects from beginning to end.

Skills: 

• Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the iOS platform.
• The ability to showcase your experiences with a variety of iOS frameworks.
• Great communication skills and familiarity with Agile development.
• Deep knowledge in Swift
• Full professional proficiency in English.
