Senior Treasury Associate

About the opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Senior Associate to join our Treasury & Investment Management team at N26. In this role, you'll help manage our growing multi-billion euro portfolio of loans and fixed-income securities. You'll be involved in asset sourcing, investment analysis, settlement, and ongoing monitoring and reporting. You'll also support the development of our securitized lending product, help optimize processes, and work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze new and existing investments across a variety of asset classes
• Prepare investment recommendations and regular updates for senior leadership
• Identify new investment opportunities and contribute to the New Product Process
• Manage and improve processes related to securitized assets
• Support liquidity management and help innovate in forecasting and cash optimization
• Capture trades and ensure portfolio data quality
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor daily operations
• Support cross-functional teams with accurate data for trade settlement, accounting, and regulatory reporting

 

What you need to be successful:

• Fluency in English is required; business-level proficiency in German is a strong plus.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in banking, treasury, or investment management
• Solid understanding of asset & liability management
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with a clear risk/reward mindset
• Confident in presenting and writing investment summaries and reports
• Strong Excel skills; experience with VBA, SQL, or Python is a plus
• Familiarity with liquidity management, money market products, repos, securities lending, and derivatives is an advantage
• Ability to stay focused and deliver under pressure
