About the opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Data Scientist to join our dynamic marketing analytics team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our marketing strategies directly through advanced modeling and to significantly influence business growth by refining key marketing performance tools. In this pivotal role, you will primarily focus on enhancing our internal Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) processes, as well as supporting the development and practical implementation of our Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) model, particularly for integration with Google Offline Conversions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and validation of our internal Marketing Mix Model, ensuring robust, actionable insights for marketing effectiveness and budget allocation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and technology teams to refine methodologies and model accuracy.
- Support on the development and validation of our Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) modeling initiatives.
- Integrate and operationalize the CLTV model, testing and deploying it specifically within Google Offline Conversion tracking frameworks to optimize marketing spend.
- Communicate complex analytical insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you need to be successful:
Background:
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong proficiency in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression analysis, Bayesian methods, predictive modeling).
- 4+ years of proven experience in developing and developing end to end machine learning model in production
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with visualization tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex data-driven insights in a clear and actionable manner
- Experience in implementing Marketing Mix Models (MMM) is a nice to have
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL).
- Strong statistical analysis and modeling capabilities.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Effective communication and storytelling skills for complex data.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Metabase).
- Experience with cloud platform AWS
- Experience in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) is nice to have.
