AFC Intern

About the opportunity
As an AFC Operations intern, you will support all Anti-Financial Crime tasks including AML, terrorism financing, sanctions, KYC, and fraud. You’ll detect Money Laundering typologies and Financial Crime patterns, while handling external and internal requests to detect potential financial crime.
In this role, you will:
- Investigations of Financial Crime alerts or cases of suspicious activities identified
- Enhancing our analysis, and expanding the processes in our procedures and rulebook, as well as identifying improvements related to our internal transaction monitoring systems.
- Prepare and submit documentation to authorities in their relevant channels/tools of reporting
What you need to be successful:
Background:
- University degree (Law, Finance, Banking, Economics).
- Prior experience in AML/CFT, finance or banking (preferred).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of excelling under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate independent insights.
- Fluency in English as well as in one of the following French, Spanish, Italian, or German is mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience supporting stakeholders through complex situation.
