About the opportunity
N26 is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Partner (Vendor) Management Team and support the delivery of excellent services across our Operational Business Units. As part of this team, you will contribute to the day-to-day management of our external vendor relationships, help track performance metrics, support governance processes, and work cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and vendors, develop expertise in outsourced operations, and contribute to strategic improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has some experience or academic background in vendor management, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), project coordination, or operations, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
In this role, you will:
- Service Delivery: Support operational coordination for vendor-based teams and contribute to achieving defined service levels and KPIs.
- Procurement & Contract Support: Assist in documentation, contract tracking, and collaboration with the N26 Sourcing Team on administrative tasks related to vendor onboarding and setup.
- Risk and Compliance: Help ensure that vendor processes align with N26 standards, including security, invoicing, and business continuity by supporting documentation reviews and control checks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendor contacts, helping to prepare materials for regular business reviews and governance meetings.
- Process Improvement: Participate in projects that aim to improve internal efficiency, reduce losses, or enhance the customer experience.
What you need to be successful:
Background:
- First experience or academic exposure in vendor/account/ITO or BPO management, operations, or related areas
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar fields
Desired:
- Interest or some knowledge in Risk & Compliance or regulatory environments
- Exposure to the finance or fintech industry through internships, projects, or studies
- Familiarity with operational improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Structured, detail-oriented working style
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and learn quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external partners
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Readiness to occasionally travel internationally (up to 10%)
