N26 employee Martyna.

3 years — Martyna — Product + Tech

What’s your role? I am a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

How long have you worked at N26? I have been working at N26 for more than 3 years now. When I joined, we were maybe 50 people in total and now we grew 10 times more!

What project are you most proud of? The project in which we integrated TransferWise into our app has a special place in my heart. That was my first project with close collaboration with a partner and one of the first projects I did in the newly formed cross-functional team. I think the team did an amazing job given the time constraints, I am using this feature in our app with pleasure.

N26 employee Alexander.

2 years — Alexander — Bank

What’s your role? As Senior Vice President IT Management in the bank team, it is my responsibility to to ensure that N26 operates their IT systems as it is required by various laws to keep customers accounts safe and secure.

How long have you worked at N26? I was working as an external consultant for a year before officially joining the company in January 2017. The first time I visited N26, they had just reached 70 employees!

What project are you most proud of? I wrote parts of the application for the banking license. When it comes to operating our IT systems, I enjoy nothing more than a well organized IT environment.

N26 employee Tim.

1 year — Tim — Design

What’s your role? I started here as a Video Producer in the Marketing team, building the in-house video department from the ground up. Now I’m a Senior Motion Designer, which means I’m also involved in developing our animation style and how motion is treated in the product itself.

How long have you worked at N26? My first day was at the beginning of May 2017. The company had around 230 employees back then so I’ve seen N26 more than double and I’ve shuffled around different desks more than a few times.

What project are you most proud of? I’d say one of our more recent video productions makes me proudest. As much as I like the highly-polished 3D animation we created for our Metal card launch, the one that brings me most satisfaction is our video about N26 at the Christopher Street Day parade here in Berlin. It shows how important diversity is in our company and the fact that N26 let’s people be themselves at work — which isn’t often the case at a lot of companies.

N26 employee Elizabeth.

500th employee — Elizabeth — Customer Support

What’s your role? International Customer Service Specialist

Why are you excited to work at N26? I’ve been an N26 customer for a about a year and a half before starting to work here and think it’s a great company to be working for. I’m looking forward to working with such a young and fast-growing company.
