About the opportunity
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Data Analyst to work embedded in our Marketing Data team, one of our cross-functional Data teams to help shape the development of one of the world's leading FinTech products. As a Senior Data Analyst you will enable our Marketing team to make data-driven decisions. You will monitor, measure and analyse the effectiveness of your marketing teams’ initiatives, as well as help drive the strategy of your stakeholder teams. You are here to establish a data-mindset and thereby to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will work in a cross functional setup, working closely with other analysts, engineers, scientists and marketing managers.In this role, you will:
Ownership of the Engage & Monetize Analytical Workstreams
:
Manage and drive key analytical initiatives within your marketing data domain, ensuring insights lead to measurable business impact.Cross-Functional Project Leadership
:
Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects, collaborating with marketing, product, and data teams to deliver high-impact solutions.Advanced Data Analysis & Modeling
:
Conduct complex analyses, predictive modeling, and customer segmentation to support marketing performance improvements.Stakeholder Management & Influence
:
Act as the go-to expert for analytical assets in your domain, proactively engaging with senior stakeholders to shape data-driven decisions.Data Visualization & Storytelling
:
Develop high-quality dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences (Marketing Leadership, CRM, Strategy, Data Analytics teams).Marketing & Performance Evaluation
:
Lead advanced marketing analytics projects, including lapse modeling, universal control groups, and next best action models.
What you need to be successful:
Background:
5+ years of experience, within the Marketing or Product Analytics field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of statistical methods used in the analysis of experimental and observational data.
- Highly experienced with SQL and Python/R for analytics
- Experience working with one or more common data visualisation tools (Tableau, Metabase, Looker, Superset, etc)
- Good presentation skills and communication skills.
- Having experience in high growth startups managing topics like lifecycle, marketing strategy, engagement or subscription would be a plus.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (eg. Braze, Treasure Data) is a plus.
- Having experience in fintech would be a plus.
