Berlin - N26 agiert heute bereits als voll lizenzierte Bank in Europa. Eine Einstufung als Finanzholding hätte für N26 keine größeren Auswirkungen. Es ändert sich weder für unsere Kunden noch für unser Geschäftsmodell etwas. Wir sind mit dem Regulator seit längerem dazu im Austausch, kommentieren diese Gespräche aber grundsätzlich nicht. Sobald es offizielle Entscheidungen gibt, werden wir diese selbstverständlich kommunizieren. Abgesehen von N26 ist dieses Thema sicher eine größere Herausforderung für Unternehmen, deren Kerngeschäft zum Großteil außerhalb des Bankgeschäftes liegt, zum Beispiel Autokonzerne oder große Konglomerate, die häufig zusätzlich eine eigene Bank besitzen.
