About the opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Analyst to join our team and support the accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions. You will also have the chance to engage with an incredibly dedicated team who puts the customer experience in the forefront of everything they do - and have fun while at it! To this end, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Banking Operations Analyst - Reconciliation with a data analytical background to support in core reconciliation operations.

About the opportunity:
In this role, you will:
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Analyze data for trends and discrepancies, provide detailed reports to management.
- Identify and implement process enhancements, including automation of reconciliation tasks.
- Work with accounting, operations, and audit teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Maintain clear records and audit trails for reconciliation activities.

Background:
- Your professional experience (at least 2 years) in reconciliation operation will help you to be successful in our fast moving environment.
- You hold a relevant university degree with a major in Economics, Business, Banking or Finance or you have completed a bank apprenticeship.
- Additionally, having experience in the data analytical field is an advantage.
Skills:
- You are a data driven individual with a strong focus on reconciliation. Knowledge of the European payments industry would be a strong plus.
- Knowledge of SQL or experience with Google script would be a strong advantage.
- You bring an innovative mindset and a strong hands-on mentality with a focus on execution, and high motivation to take an active role in our company. The customer is always at the forefront of your mind, and your entrepreneurial spirit will help us deliver a best in class operations service.
- You are strong in focusing on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big picture.
- Lastly, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and another European language is a bonus.
