With the UK now having left the European Union, we will in due course be unable to operate in the UK with our European banking license. As a result, we will be leaving the UK and closing all accounts in the coming months. We want to take this opportunity to thank all our UK customers for believing in our vision to build the bank the world loves to use. Our determination to transform the global banking industry for the better remains stronger than ever. We started our journey with the goal to redefine standards in an industry that was consistently failing customers. For many, banking still continues to be slow, tedious, and full of paperwork. Our promise is simple. A 100% digital banking experience that’s fair, transparent and centered around you. The strong demand we are seeing around the world for our product is proof that many of you agree. Already, 5 million customers worldwide have chosen N26. In the US, in partnership with Axos Bank, more than 250,000 customers have joined us in the last few months.Looking ahead, we see ideal conditions for innovation and industry disruption in harmonized markets across Europe, alongside huge potential in large single markets like the US and others. We will naturally continue to focus on growing within the European Union, building our presence in the US, and developing our products further for customers around the world. This year, we’ve already fully redesigned our mobile experience to simplify the actions that matter most to customers, and will be rolling out more exciting product updates in the next months - from multiple accounts for Spaces, to virtual cards - all with the goal of allowing you the flexibility you need. We are today a team of more than 1,500 unique talents of 80 nationalities, based across our offices in Berlin, Barcelona, Vienna, New York and São Paulo. We’ve brought together the best minds from around the globe, each passionate about changing banking to the better for customers around the world.
