Product Manager - Generative AI

About the opportunity

We are seeking a Product Manager for GenAI to manage and deliver our Generative AI roadmap that aligns with the Company’s AI and Strategic Vision. Our AI and Data Product team delivers value by managing AI capabilities within the company and fostering initiatives and collaborations between Product teams and AI experts in the company. As a key member of this team, the PM will be building and maintaining relationships with AI experts (e.g. from our Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering teams), other PMs within the company , business and technical leaders, to deliver innovative AI initiatives. They will be expected to actively manage stakeholder relationships, prioritise and refine the backlog, and ensure the team's work is optimised for outcome and value.
By collaborating closely with the different teams, practising active stakeholder management, and adopting agile methodologies, the PM will drive successful product development, deliver value to customers, and foster a collaborative and user-centric environment.  

In this role, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Generative AI initiatives, from ideation to launch and beyond
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI experts and other Product teams to develop and refine AI-driven products
• Own and shape the backlog, roadmap and vision of the GenAI capability within N26, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
• Coordinate resources, creating project timelines, to ensure on time delivery in high quality
• Manage external product partners as well as internal stakeholders and communication
• Interface with other Product teams, Business and potentially other stakeholders (e.g. Operations and Customer Service) to drive performance and business impact
• Communicate GenAI vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

 

What you need to be successful:

Background: 

• 2+ years experience as a Product Manager in the AI industry.

Skills: 

• Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies, development processes, methodologies and applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
• Experience with product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High work ethics and an intrinsic desire to deliver high quality end products
• Solving complicated problems and understanding end-customer needs are part of your core strengths
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, motivate a team and collaborate effectively
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial sector is a plus
