As a mobile bank, our mission is to change the way that people feel about and interact with their money. In recent months, there has been a lot of noise surrounding the trend towards online banking and app-based solutions. Being at the forefront of these advancements, we’ve enjoyed bringing mobile banking to customers across Europe. Yet as we grow, we’ve noticed there are sometimes questions about who we are and what we do. People ask: What is N26? Are we a 'real’ bank? What is a mobile-only bank? How are we making money management simpler?
To cut through the noise and answer those questions, we’ve launched a new brand campaign—based on our very own alphabet—spelling out what we have to offer to new and existing customers.
Banking that’s as simple as ABC
When it came to communicating the reasons why over 3.5 million customers bank with us, our creative team took inspiration from our name. We felt that the 26 letters of the alphabet presented the perfect opportunity to explain the advantages of banking with us.
The N26 alphabet highlights that while being trendy and cool is important (and we think we do that pretty well), it’s far from our main goal. We take care to make our app intuitive and easy to use, as our highest priority is to make banking as simple, secure and enjoyable as possible for our customers.
Spelling it out - our brand messages
Opening an N26 bank account isn’t just about fitting in or showing off. It makes managing personal finances easier.
With N26 you are fully in control of your money and do your banking wherever and whenever you want. You have the flexibility to view and update all your details and settings within the N26 app. The transparency of real-time transactions and statistics about your spending. The security offered by a fully licensed bank, and the speed and simplicity of a paperless sign-up that lets you open an account in minutes. In other words, “looking modern is not a reason to join N26. Being modern is”.
In the coming weeks we’ll be rolling out our brand campaign across our core markets. From “A” for “all in one app” to “Z” for “zero hidden fees”, 26 reasons for switching to N26 will be up in lights, online and off. We can’t wait.
