Senior AI & Automation Manager

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Senior AI & Automation Manager to join our Growth Operations team and lead the "AI Operator & Tooling Strategy" for N26 Marketing. This isn't just about managing tools; it’s about reimagining how a modern marketing organization functions. You will be our internal expert on the latest AI developments, identifying exactly where automation can replace manual tasks and where AI can supercharge our creative output. If you are a MarTech enthusiast who loves deconstructing complex workflows and rebuilding them to be faster, smarter, and more scalable, you will play a pivotal role in defining the future of growth at N26.

In this role, you will:

• Architect AI-Driven Workflows:

  Lead the integration of cutting-edge AI tools and automation (e.g., using n8n or Zapier) into marketing workstreams to accelerate production, approvals, enhance creative output without compromising on N26’s premium brand consistency, and feed the output into the different Marketing platforms.

• Optimize Marketing Efficiency:

  Conduct deep-dive analyses of existing team workflows to identify friction points and implement structural improvements that boost overall operational velocity.

• Scale Performance Reporting:

  Develop and manage automated reporting frameworks to track team performance, and operational efficiency, providing the data needed for strategic resource allocation.

• Build the MarTech Ecosystem:

  Design and deploy scalable processes and custom tooling (including Lokalise and DAM integrations) that ensure consistency across global campaigns, from brief to execution.

• Modernize Project Management:

  Own and optimize our project management systems (e.g., Jira, Figma) to ensure they are fit-for-purpose, enabling seamless collaboration across the entire Marketing organization.

• Drive AI Adoption & Organizational Maturity:

  Act as the primary advocate for AI within Growth, developing comprehensive training frameworks and enablement sessions that empower team members to leverage new technologies, ultimately increasing the department's technical maturity and operational autonomy.

What you need to be successful:

• Proven MarTech & AI Delivery:

  You have 5+ years of experience in automation or operations, with a documented track record of building and launching multiple AI-driven initiatives from the ground up. You have successfully scaled AI projects that solve tangible customer problems while driving significant operational impact.

• Process Engineering Mindset:

  You have a natural ability to map complex business processes and a passion for finding "the better way" to get work done through technology.

• Advanced Systems Proficiency:

  You are an expert in configuring and managing Jira and have hands-on experience with orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) and creative collaboration platforms like Figma.

• Data-Driven Approach:

  You are comfortable working with performance data and can translate operational metrics into clear reports that demonstrate the impact of your efficiency gains.

• Cross-Functional Enablement:

  You can bridge the gap between technical possibilities and marketing needs, effectively coaching teams on how to adopt new tools and AI-driven methodologies.
