When N26 Met Mastercard

It’s no coincidence that Mastercard is the N26 card of choice. Shortly after Valentin and Maximilian founded the company, they had to decide on a payment card partner. They couldn’t build a bank without a card that people could use every day for all their transactions. This partner had to provide worldwide issuing and processing solutions, have an adaptable digital infrastructure and have a strong recognizable brand name. Mastercard ticked all of these boxes and more. They loved the idea of working with a mobile bank, and expressed a shared affinity for awesome user experiences.

It’s clear that Mastercard is a dynamic player in the payments technology business, and this partnership still has plenty of room to grow as N26 expands into additional countries. Everyone at N26 is excited about the future of mobile banking, and hope to see more N26 Mastercards in your wallets soon. Find out more about the N26 Mastercard here and create your bank account with us if you’re interested in trying it for yourself.
