N26 evolves leadership bench with appointments of new Chief Growth and Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer

  • Nathalie Picquot will come on board as Chief Growth and Marketing Officer from 1 October 2026
  • Marcin Pakulnicki will join as Chief Technology Officer from 1 September 2026
  • Chief Growth and Marketing Officer Timo Meyer and Chief Technology Officer Gino Cordt will both move on from their roles at N26 at the end of 2026
Berlin, 14 July 2026 – N26 today announced two senior executive appointments, which will further reinforce the company’s position as a leading European digital bank, dedicated to delivering a seamless and trusted primary banking experience to customers across its 24 markets. On 1 October 2026, N26 will welcome Nathalie Picquot on board as its new Chief Growth and Marketing Officer (CGMO). With over two decades of leadership experience across traditional finance and Big Tech, she joins N26 after leading Corporate Marketing, Brand Experience and Digital Engagement for Banco Santander globally for the past 5 years. Prior to this, she spent over 15 years between Google and Twitter in senior management roles, partnering with brands to scale their growth initiatives. Her track record in accelerating digital transformation at the intersection of marketing, growth and expansion will be pivotal as she continues to scale N26’s brand presence and deepen customer engagement across Europe. She will take over the role from Timo Meyer, who will step away from his role at N26 at the end of 2026 after 11 years with the company. In this time, he held multiple leadership roles, including heading its US operations and its people function as Chief People Officer before taking on the role of Chief Growth and Marketing Officer. On 1 September 2026, Marcin Pakulnicki will join N26 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), assuming responsibility for the digital bank’s Technology teams and ensuring the scalability and resilience of the technology stack as the company accelerates towards its goals. He joins from ING Group, where he was responsible for building and scaling the bank’s global mobile and digital technology platform, and led the development of ING’s Conversational Banking & Agentic AI initiatives. Marcin brings an extensive track record of scaling mobile technology platforms & innovations within highly regulated financial services environments across multiple markets. He will succeed current N26 Chief Technology Officer Gino Cordt, who will also move on from his role at N26 at the end of 2026. Gino joined N26 in 2015, and took on the role of CTO in 2019, where he assumed responsibility for the bank’s core infrastructure, platform engineering, data analytics and security.
