The more we share, the more impact we can have. Use your N26 Mastercard® or sign up today to take part. We’re excited to announce that we support the partnership between Mastercard and the World Food Programme in the month of December. For every online purchase our European customers make before 25 December, a meal will be donated to vulnerable children via the World Food Programme.2020 hasn’t been easy. We are increasingly conscious of the role that a company like ours can play in supporting social topics. We’ve moved from being a Berlin start up to a truly global bank with millions of customers around the world and we want to take more of a stance—investing in, and supporting, organizations that are working to do the right thing. That’s why we have decided to support the partnership of Mastercard with the United Nations World Food Programme in the month of December. The United Nations World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disasters and the impact of climate change.Mastercard and the World Food Programme have been working together since 2012 with a partnership focused on the transformational power of school meals, which can help improve children’s health, cognitive development, access to education, and future lifetime earnings. N26 is excited to support this initiative. For every online purchase made with your N26 Mastercard® between December 1 and December 24, the value of one meal for a vulnerable child will be donated via the World Food Programme*.This year has proven—beyond doubt—that our world is fragile, and taking care of those around us matters. It matters to our customers, to our employees and to us. Yes, we may be at the very beginning of this journey, but we want to make a start today. You can provide additional support on top! If you want to make a donation to the WFP, please tap the new “donate” button in the N26 app.For each N26 Mastercard transaction made online in Europe from 1 December – 24 December 2020, the average value of one meal for a vulnerable child (€0.20) will be donated to the World Food Programme up to a maximum donation of €800,000. 100% of the donation made by N26 will be transferred via Worldcoo and 100% of cardholder donations will be transferred to WFP directly.
