About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Growth Operations (leading a team of 5+) to bring N26’s most ambitious campaigns to life. You’ll be our architect of operational excellence – optimizing workflows for speed, scaling our AI-driven capabilities, and ensuring every project is as compliant as it is creative. Beyond the technical, you are a relentless driver of delivery; you have the grit to challenge senior stakeholders, dismantle blockers, and hold teams accountable to ensure our output is always on time and of the highest caliber. Your impact
1. Program Management & Creative Throughput
- Campaign Management & Steering: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Leadership Team to enable the delivery of business-critical growth initiatives on time.
- Team Management: Lead the Program Management team to deliver high-impact global campaigns on time, on budget, and at an exceptional quality level.
- Traffic Management: Oversee the workflow of our in-house Creative Studio, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet business priorities.
- Budget Ownership: Direct and control the global production budget for Marketing campaigns, ensuring the optimal mix and cost-efficiency of both internal resources and external partners.
- Vendor & Production Management: Oversee vendor selection and management, ensuring external resources meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Operational Lean-ness: Continuously refine workflows to remove bottlenecks, ensuring we stay "lean" without sacrificing regulatory safety.
2. AI Operator & Tooling Strategy 1
- Drive AI Adoption: Act as the primary driver for AI within the marketing department, identifying and implementing use cases that automate manual tasks, enhance creative output, and integrate Generative AI across the entire production cycle.
- Tech Stack Optimization: Audit and manage the marketing tool ecosystem to ensure maximum ROI and operational efficiency, prioritizing AI-first platforms that reduce manual overhead.
3. Compliance & Process Governance
- Compliance Champion: Serve as the bridge between Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams. Ensure all marketing activities adhere to financial regulations (e.g. GDPR, KWG, MaRisk).
- Documentation Excellence: Own the "Marketing Source of Truth." Ensure all processes are documented, updated regularly, and audited against new laws or internal requirements.
- Departmental Training: Design and lead training sessions to ensure every marketer at N26 understands their compliance obligations and how to use AI tools responsibly.
What you bring
- Marketing Operations Expertise: Minimum 9 years of experience and a deep understanding of complex cross-functional project management, preferably in the marketing lifecycle – from brief to execution – with a proven track record of managing operational teams (5+ people).
- AI Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with AI automation tools and a clear vision of how to apply LLMs and machine learning to workflows, preferable in Marketing.
- Process Engineering: You don't just follow processes; you build them. You have a knack for turning complex requirements into simple, high-adoption workflows.
- The "Get Stuff Done" Mentality: You are a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and isn't afraid to dive into the details, unblock teams, and push stakeholders for results.
- Compliance Curiosity: Unlike many, you find clarity in regulations. You have a passion for documentation and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Advanced Project Management: Expert-level ability to prioritize a high volume of projects simultaneously, using data to drive resource allocation.
- Change Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and ensure high adoption of new tools and processes.
