Are you ready for your next career step? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Security Training and Awareness Manager to join the Data Protection and Governance team within the CISO Office. In this pivotal role, you will be the creative force behind driving awareness and training campaigns to promote a positive information security culture across the related functions within the CISO office. You will also be instrumental in reducing human risk on behalf of the three CISO Office teams, namely: ICT Governance Risk and Compliance, Business Continuity Management, Data Protection and Data Governance.
In this role you will
- Be a part of the bank’s risk function (2nd Line of Defense), reporting to the Senior Lead of Group Data Governance Strategy within the CISO team
- Collaborate with all the CISO teams to align training with the latest security risks, emerging regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Design and deliver training and awareness programmes and initiatives.
- Experienced in running large-scale awareness campaigns end-to-end (e.g. Security Days), including budgeting, office and logistics planning, driving cross-functional collaboration and coordinating with the security teams (Security Alliance).
- Develop the training roadmap, including new course creation, updating existing courses, and retiring legacy courses.
- Partner with subject matter experts to conduct needs assessment for training, awareness, and security guidance projects requirements.
- Use modern approaches such as
gamification to create exciting and engaging multimedia
training materials such as e-learning modules, videos, interactive content, and presentations to support ongoing training, engagement, and awareness initiatives. - Lead end-to-end training programmes for senior leadership, developers and externals covering data protection, secure coding, security controls and privacy obligations.
- Promote a culture of managed and protected data by continuously improving training programs and planning, co-ordinating and running events that promote a security culture and to ensure they are aligned with evolving business needs, security challenges, and compliance requirements.
- Report on training outcomes, tracking participation, progress, and impact across the organization, providing insights to senior leadership.
- Maintaining training records and documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
What you need to be successful
Background
- 3–4 years of dedicated experience in training and awareness, or learning and development.
- Mandatory expertise in ICT Governance, Risk and Compliance, Business Continuity Management, Data Protection, and Data Governance.
- Familiarity with critical banking regulations (e.g., DORA, GDPR, MaRisk or other regulations and relevant frameworks and best practices such as: ISO 27001, OWASP,etc…).
- Understanding of key IT security domains: IT infrastructure, network security, application security, and cloud security.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Previous exposure to information security within the banking or financial services industry.
- Experience in organisational change management, communication, or events management.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools, multimedia techniques, and AI-based content creation tools (e.g., Gemini, Google Vids, Workday) to produce engaging training material.

- Strong creative skills with the ability to build clear storylines and excellent visual content
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- At least a basic understanding of programming is required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong report-writing and content creation skills.
- Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
