IT Operations Specialist - Endpoints Team

About the opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Specialist with a strong focus on Endpoints Security and comprehensive device management across various operating systems. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient endpoint environments, ensuring the integrity and protection of our organizational assets.

In this role, you will:

Endpoint Security:
    • Design, configure, deploy, and manage advanced endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, EDR, DLP).
    • Develop and enforce security standards and baselines for all endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices).
    • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of endpoint systems.
    • Respond to and investigate endpoint security incidents, implementing corrective actions.
  • Endpoints Management:
    • Lead the deployment, configuration, and administration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
    • Manage and support a diverse fleet of endpoint devices, including Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS.
    • Develop and implement strategies for device provisioning, patching, and software distribution.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint-related issues.
  • Email Security Gateway Management:
    • Configure, maintain, and optimize Email Secure Gateway solutions to protect against phishing, malware, and other email-borne threats.
    • Develop and implement email security policies and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Security Operations, Network, Applications) to ensure seamless integration and alignment of endpoint strategies.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all endpoint security and management processes, configurations, and procedures.
    • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on best practices.

 

What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years of experience in endpoint management and security roles.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with:
    • Leading endpoint security platforms (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, EDRs solutions.)
    • MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Kandji, Workspace ONE).
    • Operating system management for Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS in an enterprise environment.
    • Scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
    • Email Secure Gateway technologies (e.g., Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Protection).
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Jamf Certified Admin) are a plus.
