Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer

About the opportunity
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll be a key part of the Marketing Data team, building the data foundations that enable data-driven decisions and contribute to business growth. You'll work closely with marketing data scientists and analysts, as well as the wider data community, to develop robust data pipelines and models that optimize marketing programs.
In this role, you will:
- Provide Clean Data Models: Design and model data to create a centralized, reliable data source for marketing data. You'll empower business stakeholders and analysts to answer their own questions by providing them with clean, reliable data.
- Build Data Products: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data projects and products. You'll use software engineering best practices like version control, continuous integration, testing, and documentation to ensure high quality and scalability.
- Improve Workflow Efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize how analysts and business users work with data, streamlining their processes and saving time.
- Maintain Scalable Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines to ensure marketing data is always available and reliable.
- Lead Best Practices: Represent the Marketing Data team within the Analytics Engineering chapter, collaborating with other engineers to create and enforce best practices for data modeling.
- Mentor and Support: Manage and support one other analytics engineer on the team.

Streamline Delivery: Find big-picture opportunities to improve and streamline the delivery processes for the team's data assets.
What you need to be successful:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Software Engineer, ideally in Marketing or Marketing Technology.
- Strong experience with SQL and familiarity with Python and Micro-Service architecture.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing architecture.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect data usage to real-world business problems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to work across different teams.
