About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly driven Business Team Associate to join our Strategy and Operations team in Berlin/Barcelona. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to work at one of Europe’s most exciting Fintechs and contribute to our growth and expansion in a cross functional team. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Product initiatives through project management, external partner management and ensuring maximum performance using data analysis and KPI tracking. You will have the unique opportunity to work on complex projects such as launching new product features while driving business strategy and operational change.In this role, you will:
- Lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end, from strategic design through to execution and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the definition and execution of strategic priorities for both the team and the overall deposit segment.
- Build data-driven business cases to evaluate the impact and feasibility of strategic initiatives and new products - Including SQL deep dives and budget building
- Drive N26's deposit strategy to support business growth through high-impact initiatives
- Oversee the full lifecycle of N26 Saving products, utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis for continuous optimization.
- Analyze business performance to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation.
- Monitor product and project performance using data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Develop deep expertise in the Deposit segment including its business KPIs, infrastructure, and operational processes.
- Act as the central point of contact between internal and external stakeholders, including Product & Tech, Legal & Compliance, Customer Operations, Banking Operations, Marketing, and external partners.
What you need to be successful:
- Professional Experience: 4+ years prior experience in financial services - fintech/banking, investment banking, or startups
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (Finance, Economics, Math, etc.) from a top-tier university
- Project Management: Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional projects end-to-end and managing senior stakeholders.
- Vendor Management: Established experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and partner performance evaluation. (strong plus)
- Data Mastery: Advanced Excel and SQL skills are mandatory - you must be able to independently source data and derive insights.
- Strategic Analysis: Ability to build complex business cases and conduct deep-dive research into market and competitor trends
- Communication: Outstanding storytelling and visualization skills, with a high proficiency in Google Presentation
- Agility: Highly organized with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Collaboration: A "connective tissue" mindset, capable of mediating between Product, Tech, Legal, and Operations.
- Mindset: Proactive problem-solver with a genuine passion for the banking industry and N26’s business model.
