N26 adds Barcelona as its third company location after Berlin and New York
Berlin - The Mobile Bank N26 announced today at MoneyConf in Dublin that it will open its second European office in Barcelona on September 1. Barcelona is recognized as one of Europe’s leading technology and innovation hubs with a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. This step will enable N26 to tap into a large talent pool as The Mobile Bank is growing its team rapidly. By the end of 2019, N26 plans to have a team of more than 100 engineers and product experts on the ground in Barcelona.
The new office in Barcelona will primarily be focused on product development and technology. N26 plans to hire more than 100 engineers and product experts by the end of 2019 and will continue to expand the team in subsequent years. By adding a second European office in a highly attractive city besides Berlin, N26 is able to give its employees more flexibility with regard to their location. This is an important strategic step as the firm continues to expand its global presence.
