Psst. We’ve got big news.

No, scratch that. Huge news.

Beginning today, N26 will be available in the US. In a staged rollout, members of our waitlist will be able to sign up for an N26 checking account directly from their smartphones. Our initial offering includes an N26 account via Axos Bank®, a federally regulated and FDIC-insured bank, and a Visa® debit card.

Excited? Good. So are we. Here are just a few things you can expect from banking with N26:

No hidden fees

Open an N26 account and experience banking with no hidden fees. Yes, really — no minimum account balance, no maintenance charges, and no foreign transaction fees when you shop using your N26 card overseas.

Get paid faster

With N26, Wednesday is the new Friday. Set up direct deposit using your N26 account and you’ll receive your paycheck as soon as your employer deposits it, which is up to 2 days faster than most traditional banks.*

A fully mobile experience

Banking with N26 is fast and entirely mobile. Open an account in just 5 minutes directly from your phone — no confusing forms to file, no waiting in line to speak to a teller, no problem.

Once you’re in, you can begin enjoying all that we have to offer, including beautiful design, in-app** security features, and intuitive money management tools. Case in point, Spaces — free sub-accounts you can personalize to help visualize, track, and achieve your short and long-term financial goals.

Banking you control

The N26 app puts control back where it belongs — at your fingertips. Lost your debit card? Lock it with just a tap. If it turns up, unlock it instantly. Traveling abroad? No need to call and let us know. Enable or disable international payments directly within the app.

Additionally, N26 offers a clear overview of your money habits via our automated spending statistics. Each time you pay using your N26 card, we'll sort your purchases into categories, including food and groceries, shopping, and ATM withdrawals, helping you visualize what you’re spending each month.

The app also helps you control what happens within your account through instant push notifications. We send an alert straight to your device for all account activity, including purchases, deposits, and withdrawals. Say goodbye to mental accounting and hello to banking without the guesswork.

Interested in opening an N26 account? If you haven’t already, join our waitlist. We’re granting beta access to a select number of users each day ahead of our nationwide release later this summer. The sooner you join the waitlist, the sooner you’ll be granted access. And be sure to follow N26 on social media, as we plan to announce even more exciting features and perks over the next months, including our premium metal cards and free ATM withdrawals.

Are you ready to change how you bank?

*Faster funding claim is based on a comparison of our policy of making funds available upon receipt of payment instruction versus the typical banking practice of posting funds at settlement. Fraud prevention restrictions may delay availability of funds with or without notice. Early availability of funds requires payor’s support of direct deposit and is subject to the timing of payor’s payment instruction.

**N26 does not charge for this service, but your wireless carrier may charge for data or messages.

The N26 account is offered by Axos Bank®, Member FDIC. N26 Inc. is a service provider of Axos Bank. All deposit accounts of the same ownership and/or vesting held at Axos Bank are combined and insured under the same FDIC Certificate 35546. All deposit accounts through Axos Bank brands are not separately insured by the FDIC from other deposit accounts held with the same ownership and/or vesting at Axos Bank. The N26 Visa® Debit Card is issued by Axos Bank pursuant to a license by Visa U.S.A. Inc. The N26 Visa Debit Card may be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
