Since day one, we’ve been on a mission to create a banking experience that is simple, fast, and convenient. One that gives you easy ways to add money to your account, access to your money as quickly as possible, and management tools that will allow you to make your money go further. This is why we’ve made it even easier for you to get your paycheck up to two days early¹ using direct deposit with your N26 account, no matter what your employer’s payroll service provider requires.
Keep reading to learn how to easily find and copy your account details and, should your employer require it, how to quickly generate a direct deposit form right from the N26 app.
How to find your account information
If your employer manages their payroll through a service provider like ADP, Justworks, or QuickBooks Payroll, you can easily set up or switch your direct deposit online by inputting your N26 account number and routing information. You can easily find your account details by going to the “Actions” tab in the N26 app, selecting “Add Money,” and tapping “Direct Deposit.” From there, you’ll be able to copy your account information in one tap, or save them by selecting “Share details” and your preferred sharing method. Using your employer’s payroll portal, just enter our routing number (122287675) and your N26 account number.
How to generate a direct deposit form from the app
Many employers require you to provide a direct deposit form in order to receive your paycheck directly to your bank account. These include your account details, but also some extra information including the type of account, bank name and address, a voided sample check, and the amount of your paycheck you’d like deposited into a given account each month. We’ve made it fast and pain-free to generate this form right from our app, through an easy-to-follow guided process. Simply head to the “Actions Tab” in the N26 app, select “Add Money,” and then “Direct Deposit.” From there you’ll:
Tap “Get Direct Deposit Form”
Enter the name of your employer
Decide whether you’d like to deposit the full amount of your paycheck, or would rather deposit a specific dollar amount or percentage
Enter percentage or dollar amount of your paycheck that you’d like deposited into your N26 account
That’s it. You will be able to download the generated PDF form by tapping “share” and send it via SMS, email, save it to the cloud, or print it from your phone.
