Business Domain Leader - Banking Foundations

About the opportunity

We have four domain leaders in the Business function, mirroring the Product domains “Grow & Engage”, “Financial Empowerment”, “Everyday Banking” and Banking Foundations. They are the "mini CEOs" of their domain in close partnership with their respective counterpart in Product

In your next challenge, you will:

  • Be the sparring partner to senior management at N26 especially to Director of Product and senior Marketing leaders for your respective domain
  • Managing a team of managers, associates and analysts to support domain strategies, planning, ensure deliveries and flag deviations or blockers
  • Responsible for aligning the broader team (MLROs, GMs, Operations etc.) on how to best deliver on domain priorities and gather input, ideas, needs and requirements
  • Understand the key health metrics of the respective business area, how to influence them, identify and bring up business opportunities
  • Analyse the competitive landscape for your domain and derive implications for N26
  • Support our long-term company strategy and help prepare monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Co-create a domain specific strategy and priortized roadmap
  • Drive the NPP processes for your domain and coordinate product and initiative launches

What you’ll need to be successful


  • Extensive experience in consulting, big tech, and/or start-ups as well as working with Product and Go-To-Market teams.
  • Outstanding analytical & stakeholder mgmt. skills and a structured way of thinking
  • Must have experience in leading diverse teams esp. regarding analytics and strategy
  • Masters degree in either Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or an MBA is a nice to have


  • Data driven with SQL background
  • Innovative minds and a strong hands-on mentality with a focus on execution, and high motivation to take an active role in N26
  • A quick learning ability, outstanding analytical skills and a structured way of thinking, your attention to details is exceptional
  • Open to learn, and are interested in understanding and deepening your knowledge of the banking business
  • Excellence approach new topics and challenges independently and proactively
  • Outstanding communication skills in English
