About the opportunity
We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our Core Tools team. You will be shaping the infrastructure and the tools that Data Analysts leverage to support N26’s digital banking business.
You will be acting as an internal development consultant for Data Analytics, bringing in software development best practices to continuously improve the microservices that power our teams’ work, while contributing to our adoption of tools part of the Modern Data Stack.
In this role, you will:

Lead continuous development on our data transformation tools

Ensure adequate observability on the processes our microservices run

Manage general orchestration among and within analytics services
-
Support other Data teams in building and deploying new tools for our analysts

Be the point of contact for technical stakeholders, like our platform and security engineering teams

Work closely with other Analysts and Engineers leveraging our data ecosystem and capabilities to solve complex problems

Act as a technical advisor and mentor to junior members of the Data Analytics team
What you need to be successful:

At least 5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Backend or Data Engineering.

Confidence in working through ambiguous scenarios

A track record of success in building new data engineering processes

Relevant background in an a similar data or engineering role

Proficiency in building complex ETL solutions
