About the opportunity

The Global People Operations team, classically known as HR, strives to create and deliver the best experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes and systems to focus on the things that matter the most: Our people at N26. This means you’ll not only be supported by a dedicated and passionate team, but also with automated tools and a ticketing system to ensure nothing slips through the cracks - but there’s even more we’d love to do (which is where you come in)!

You’ll learn how to make your impact to the building of our teams, our product development and our organisation evolution, by supporting the team in diverse daily tasks like handling employee requests, relocation processes, contract management and giving our colleagues the resources and support they need in the most important moments of their N26 journey.

In this role, you will:

  • Work across a broad range of People topics supporting the whole lifecycle of employees from the moment they accept an offer to their first day, throughout their journey at N26 and beyond.
  • Support the team via our ticketing system. You’ll learn how to manage requests from our global colleagues, e.g. employment contracts, process absences, employment certificates, special requests and much more!
  • Learn how to navigate Workday -our HRIS-, and perform actions to maintain, grow and control the consistency of our employee database.
  • Support the team with the administrative tasks needed to keep all the physical and digital documentation on track (mailing, scanning, filing, procurement invoicing). Ensure compliant processes throughout all areas of responsibilities and tasks.
  • We have ambitious plans for our remote work expansion. You’ll be exposed to different international employment legislation & regulations.
  • We live in a fast-paced environment so you will gain hands-on experience in many special HR projects.

What you need to be successful:

  • Being available to do a Full-time internship (40h/week).
  • Ideally you have finished your studies already or are in the very last stages of such.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
  • You are currently a Bachelor/Master Student in the field of Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent, with a focus and passion for people related topics.
  • You care about people and can empathise with them, developing your communication style, prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • You have a customer service mindset, and ideally you’ve had some work experience or exposure to an administrative and/or operational role supporting diverse nationalities or communities.
  • Ability and openness to learn how to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • You are inquisitive and want to make things better and more efficient.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the salary for this position, which is 22.397 EUR gross per year based on internship full-time employment as per the contract duration.
