About the opportunity
We are seeking a BCM Manager based in Berlin, Germany.Our BCM team is building and empowering the ability of our company to absorb the impact of a business interruption, disruption and/or loss and to continue to provide a minimum acceptable level of service.
In this role, you will:
- Assist/Lead in development, implementation and maintain a Business Continuity Management (BCM) governance framework and enhance daily the second line of defence oversight
- Coordinate between all stakeholders critical business continuity efforts and independently lead BCM projects
- Assist/Lead in implementation and maintenance of BCM committees
- Coordinate the execution and reporting of BCM tests from the operational units
- Create, coordinate and enhance global BCM training for BCM critical roles and leadership
- Assist/Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of a group wide incident & crisis management process.
- Closely work together with the crisis communications, risk and compliance department.
- Monitoring the implementation of BCM improvements
- Provide feedback to projects and change processes
- Assist in implementing and reporting of BCM-based KPI/KRI metrics to Management
- Manage, execute and report the execution of BCM controls
- Work closely with other control functions like Outsourcing and Risk Management
- Assist/Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of a group wide incident & crisis management process
What you need to be successful:
- B.S./MBA
- 4+ years doing BCM managerial role at financial company
Skills:
- Strong program management, organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative approach and analytical skills to problem solving
- Able to quickly understand business processes and communicate effectively with a wide range of business process leaders
- Technical knowledge to coordinate effectively with ITSCM that will build ITSC plans for our cloud environment
