I’d like to refer a new customer. How does that work?
Invite friends and family members to N26 by opening your N26 app and tapping on ‘My account’ in the top right corner. Then scroll down to ‘Useful actions’ and select ‘Invite your friends.’ Simply tap ‘Share invite link’ to share it with your friends.
How much is the refer-a-friend bonus?
The bonus for a customer referral can vary, which is why we cannot mention a specific amount here. You can always see how much you can earn by heading to the Friend referrals section in the ‘Explore’ tab of your N26 app.
How do I receive my bonus?
Once you've successfully opened an N26 account and made a transaction greater than the bonus value, you'll be paid directly into your N26 account. Keep in mind that the reward process could take up to 60 days.
When will I receive my bonus?
Once your friends have successfully opened an N26 account and made at least one transaction that’s greater than the bonus value, you'll get your referral bonus deposited right into your N26 account. This process can take up to 60 days.
How long is the invite link or code valid for?
Referral links don’t expire and can be used anytime. Friend referrals which are initiated, but not complete after one year will be canceled. You can find more info here in the Terms and Conditions.
Is there a limit to the number of customers I can refer?
If you’d like to invite multiple friends to join N26, we have good news — you can receive up to €1,500 in total with the ‘refer-a-friend’ program at N26.
Please note: If you earn more than €256 in a calendar year with customer referral programs, this income is taxable.
Can I see the status of my referral in the N26 app?
You can check the status of your referral at any time in your mobile N26 app or the web app. Just head to the ‘Explore’ tab where you’ll find the ‘refer-a-friend’ section.
When my friends open an N26 account, do they receive a bonus, too?
The Terms and Conditions of N26's ‘refer-a-friend’ program may vary. In your N26 app you can find more information about the conditions that currently apply. Simply go to ‘My account’ > ‘Useful actions’ > ‘Invite your friends’ to see the details.
